Dr. Georg von Wallwitz, CFA
Georg von Wallwitz has been Managing Partner at Eyb & Wallwitz since 2004. In active portfolio management, he is mainly responsible for alpha strategies.
Previously, he worked for DWS, the fund management business of Deutsche Bank, and German private bank Hauck & Aufhäuser, where he primarily managed special vehicles for investors such as pension funds for several years. As a member of various investment committees, his responsibilities included developing quantitative models.
A passionate writer and publicist of books and our regular Börsenblatt newsletter, Georg von Wallwitz observes financial markets, applying both his expert knowledge and sense of humour.
Dr. Ernst Konrad
Ernst Konrad has been a Partner and Managing Director at Eyb & Wallwitz since 2009. In portfolio management, he is responsible for asset allocation and equity strategies.
From 2005 to 2008, he was Head of Equities and in charge of asset allocation at BayernInvest, one of the largest investment firms in Germany. Prior to that, he worked as a fund manager at Hauck & Aufhäuser, Pioneer Investments and HypoVereinsbank.
Ernst Konrad has contributed to various publications on economic and capital market developments as well as portfolio management. He contributes expert knowledge to our Macro Views newsletter and annual investment reports.
Andreas Zöllner has been a Partner at Eyb & Wallwitz since 2012. In his role as portfolio manager, he oversees the assets of corporate clients and family offices.
For 11 years, he managed special investment vehicles for pension funds and foundations at Hauck & Aufhäuser. He was also a member of various investment committees. Prior to that, he worked for Pioneer Investments and Hypovereinsbank.
Hans-Peter Sigl-Glöckner joined Eyb & Wallwitz in 2010. In his role as portfolio manager, he oversees the assets of corporate clients and family offices.
For five years, he managed complex asset structures as Deputy Director at Bankhaus Berenberg in Munich. He moved to the banking sector after 15 years as Managing Partner at a family-owned firm in the luxury goods sector before.
Eduardo Mollo Cunha
Since 2010, Eduardo Mollo Cunha has been responsible for Sales & Marketing to institutional and wholesale clients and since 2017 Partner at Eyb & Wallwitz.
His experience includes roles as Head of Institutional Sales at Danish investment firm Sparinvest, and until 2006 he was instrumental in developing Fundmatrix AG, an organisation focused on facilitating market entry to the German-speaking regions for international investment boutiques addressing institutional and semi-institutional clients.
Dr. Jakub Hodek
Jakub Hodek has been a portfolio manager at Eyb & Wallwitz since 2015, focusing on quantitative asset management and his work at Eyb & Wallwitz Research.
He previously held a position as portfolio manager at Reimann Investors, where he managed the liquid assets of members of the Reimann family.
During this time, he completed his doctorate at Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt with a dissertation on quantitative strategies. He previously completed a degree in economical physics and philosophy at Universität Ulm.
Kai Schmidt has been a member of the Eyb & Wallwitz team since 2016. As senior relationship manager, he is responsible for institutional and wholesale clients.
For 14 years, Kai Schmidt worked as executive director in the realm of institutional and wholesale clients at UBS Deutschland AG. Before coming to Eyb & Wallwitz, Kai Schmidt held a position as senior relationship manager at Antecedo Asset Management. He began his professional career with Commerzbank AG (then Dresdner Bank AG) as part of a trainee program.
Nina zur Lippe
Nina zur Lippe has been a private account manager at Eyb & Wallwitz since 2016.
She previously worked for Deutsche Bank in London and Munich in the equities department and managing corporate accounts, later working at the bank’s central headquarters in the corporate finance/syndicated credits division.
Since 2015, Emine Aktürk has been working as a sales office manager of our Frankfurt office to expand our activities in the realm of institutional and wholesale clients.
She previously worked for DIC Asset AG as a management assistant for finances and investor relations. Before arriving at DIC Asset AG, she had several years of experience working as an office manager at Sparinvest S.A., Mellon Global Investments Ltd, and Lazard Asset Management. She began her career at Fidelity Investments in 1993.
